Here's A Scenario...

Ok, when I first signed up for Live I had the stock HDD installed.  This was sometime last year.  However, I never used live until about 3 months ago, after I had installed a new HDD.  I've since been banned.  I've just recently received a new Eeprom and I still have my stock HDD.  Is it still necessary for me to get a new HDD or can I use my stock HDD with my new Eeprom if I sign up for a new gamertag?

The problem is I'm not sure which HDD they would have logged.  If I remember correctly the last time I used Live on the old HDD sometime around late august and then used it a few times on the new HDD.  

Or, is this a moot point altogehter? Does registering a new gamertag with a new Eeprom installed create a new Eeprom/HDD log?
