Banned Without Live Subscription?

Does this happen? I don't have live yet ( waiting for card to come in mail) but I have tried to access live with the stock HD and my MOD hd . I have been worrying for days thinking that even though i don't have an account MS saw me try to access live with different hard drives. Anyone know about this?
