Trying To Prevent Banning - Advice Needed Please

Now, lets say hypothetically that we are in the period of time BEFORE the Halo 2 bannings...the relatively safer Live days biggrin.gif . I know that running the retail kernel is a requirement to prevent banning.  I have all the Evolution-X bios and dash files on the C partition.  Is it required that these files be moved before connecting to Live?  If I have to move them, is it difficult to get the dash set up from another partition?  Any help would be greatly appreciated smile.gif
