Xbox Live Through A Proxy Server

You really wouldnt need one. You would have your internet connection ( cable modem or DSL modem) connected to the router. Then connect your computer and xbox to the router as well.

Hmm well I'am sure some routers let you configure it somewhere, but I can't set setting for my router so the only way I could think of would be to manually enter the settings like the ip etc don't know how you'll get the dns sever etc though unless you used your current one which would sort of seem to render the proxy useless. So I just guess somehow configure it in your router settings.

I use the program AnalogX and configure things from there. There shouldnt be any configuring of the router. Set the IP addresses to that of your computer.

You are using a broadband connection right? If you are then I dont see why you need a proxy server. I use it for dialup connection.

I am at school on a T3 connection.  The problem is that the school wants to make my life miserable, so they limit our upload and download bandwidth to 1.5 gig a week.  If I use a proxy server however, it blocks my ip and they can't monitor how much I have used.  I have been doing this for my browser, but I would like to do for xbox live because 1.5 is not near enough bandwidth for all the halo 2 I want to play.  Thanks for all your help.
