Hi

I just got hooked a friend's xbox to my netw who have not played online since september, i ran the network setting detection and in the end i got xbox live not found but not the message of hardware mod either just something about MTU connection or something like that, can anyone tell me what's going on?

i get the same message, cept when i sign in through halo 2 wiht big hdd, from the ms dash with retail hdd and eeprom, i get the not found message

ok, wtf im getting the same error. got banned yesterday, so today install new 40gb to default ms load using slayer 2.6 and got new eeprom from www.XS Filter - 032408 -3 for my V1.0.

now im trying to connect and im getitng an error that xbl was not detected. it resolves ip and dns fine (although dns takes a while) but errors out on connecting to live and it's not a modded xbox error.
tried manual ip/dns config on xbox and different mac. Tried different IP on cable modem wtill the same thing. could this be related to the new eeprom or hd since that is all i changed? i have a new xbox sitting in the box but if i can get it working with a new hd, eeprom and GT I would rather do it that way and return the xbox to the store. got big halo gaming night tomorrow

If your running through a router you may have to upgrade it's firmware.

dont think its router, my untouched xbox connects fine, my softmodded xbox i just resored to regular box gets the cant find xbox live eroor, and verify ip error.

same, has anyone that has been banned recently been able to get back on, i just restored my xbox to full retail mode or whatever, no chip, BRAND new hdd that came with my box a month ago, never even turned the thing on i modded the box the second i got it, and i got a new retail eeprom everything, the network error message, i dont care if i have to not use my modchip and hdd for a while, i jsut want halo 2 live and all my stats back. but anyway has anyone been able to get on live yet?

I tried logging in with the xbox direct to my cable modem and still the same thing so I cracked open my new xbox, connected fine did a recovery and just got done playing halo 2 for a few hours so something is still blocked or banned on my modded xbox even with new eeprom and hard drive. modded box is a v1.0 with x2.0 pro.
for now it looks like 2 xbox's is the life for me.

I was getting this error until I replaced my EEPROM.

I've been getting the Live not found too, I have a 120 gig drive and the thing is my xbox live has been working then when I try to go on yesterday I just get a live not found.
