Signed onto XBL last weekend and created gamertag and account. Modchip (DMS X-Bit) was off, never been on xbl PERIOD. Multiple non-standard files on c and e partitions. Massive amounts of emulators, roms, backups, mp3, and dvds on a WD 250gb HDD.
Signed on again Monday night and downloaded content for Ninja Gaiden. Signed on last night and downloaded content from Splinter Cell. Don't have Halo 2 yet but everything looks pretty good so far right? ;

Gumba,
someone is selling stock drives for $10 plus shipping. Im assuming this is someone who sells modded box's and has no need for them.  Im also pretty sure these would be virgins.

Hi,

First post after a while lurking but the whole H2 and banning thing has made me break cover smile.gif

I modded my box a few weeks back and just last week stuck a new HD in - talk about bad timing!

I've not installed H2 yet but plan to tonight, my question is - if I put my old disk back in will I be OK?

I've signed into live since adding the disk so I think I may be in trouble, or maybe not...

Thanks in advance for any helpful info!

SFL

When did you first sign onto live? before or after adding the new disk?

If before, you could be screwed either way, if not, then you should be fine.

You can't be certain they're XBL Virgin HDs. Ask, be sure smile.gif

Well, it really depends if you installed your new HD before they started scanning for new HDs...

we're not exactly sure when that was, but I figure its around June, or when Live 2.0 came out.

You can buy eeproms from the Buy/Sell forum here,

http://forums.xbox-s...hp?showforum=12

The problem is, if you do replace the eeprom, you'll need to replace teh HD too as you've already been on live, so you might as well just hop on and see what happens, then if you have problems, replace your HD, EEPROM and GamerTag (if you want to have a big HD again).
