again, you should be able to use your old stock HD, or a new large HD with a new gamertag

if you got banned, its flagged, simpel as that, it will work fine with a stock HD, but not an upgraded one

Eeee, the real process was:
1. Go to live with stock and sigin and play
2. Tranfer GT from stock to new big one
3. TRy to go to live! with the big one and get modification hw error
4. Put again de old one and try to go to live! and get live! not avalaible

Soo I supossed tha "...since you never actually logged all the way in to Live with the stock one after being banned" means that if i would use AFTER de ban the stock HDD then it aswell would be banned (so now, because I conect AFTER the bann with stock and big one, the two hdd are banned) and a need a virgin HDD

Soo i should forget my LordCucurbitus GT and make a new one if I want to use a Large HDD (and i want because I loves! XBMC) using the same datas of my starter kit and VISA card. it's ok?

I am way new to this and read a lot of this thread, but here is my thing...
Used xbox from pawnshop NO MOD that I know of...No MOD CHIPS...
I hooked it up to be sure it worked including to my router, no game disk in it, no game account. In M$ dash pressed the live to see what it would do and it said it was downloading and not to turn of. It acted like it took a M$ update. It works fine.
I am going to mod it with a large HD and maybe will want to play it live. Would the simple act of the box connecting with no game or account info flag it so if it goes back on with a large HD it will cause problems?
I didn't know squat about live until after I tested the box out (My first xbox) and now am thinking testing the network out may of been a bad thing.

Bottom line i'm screwed recovered account after already being online and after installing new HD.  

My questions are thus a little different.  I can't be arsed to buy a new eeprom and a new hdd after just buying this one b4 christmas. even if i did it's a waste of six months of live payment.

So if i grab a brand new xbox £20 off someone dodgy. Though not dodgy enough thats it's been modded. Can i continue to use my old gamertag o because it's been flagged am i gonna need a new one.

if i do need a new one theres £20 worth of live that i've paid and not used.  it was from a 12 month starter pack so i doubt i'm gonna see it again i suppose.

looks like i'm just gonna have to live off free tags from now on.

OK; Im sorry, if any of what I say has already been covered, I am on information overload here.  Before any one asks yess I have read this topic, not all the way but 80% atleast.

Could someone tell me if I am understanding this right.

1)If I have never been on XBL before and I get on with a large HD (160gig) I should be cool because however the marriage theory works, not so clear on this, it would marrie the eprom and the HDD SN when I first get on.

2)I read in another forum, How to play on Xbox Live with a modded Xbox, that if I am using EvolutionX I need to run it from a disk.  However I FTP'd to my xbox and the file "xboxdash.xbe" looks to be fine.  Do I need to do this or am I cool? If I do could you explain why b/c I dont understand that at all, im probably just missing it, something about the M$ dash and im using a V 1.6B that has M$ dash with XBL tab already in it.
(STUPID QUESTION): Does slayers auto install 2.6 use EvolutionX?

3)My HD will only get scanned and get me banned for a lg HDD if my GT is flagged.
(STUPID QUESTION): I know nothing about XBL so im assuming you pick your GT when you start XBL and it is like a profile name for example "rafernan" & "lankygibbon"

SYSTEM stats:
XBOX V = 1.6B
mod chip = X3 solderless (yes I can solder but yes I am that lazy, sloderless just seamed worth it.)
BOIS = (?) I think it is a 512 X2 bios.  I used the one a friend said worked for him with the same setup.
(OFF TOPIC STUPID QUESTION): Are there any benifits to using the newest X3 bios that are worth reflashing?

One more thing: If I unplug my XBOX from the router while I play with the mod chip on I dont have to worry about anything right?  I just make sure that before I plug in to the router the mod chip is off.  RIGHT?
