You need to replace your EEPROM before you replace your HD. And you then need to replace the HD before you go online with that EEPROM.

Due to the fact that most people are getting banned with Halo 2. Did any of you ever think that Halo 2 may have a program that records the specs of our xbox and sends it in. Then you sign off of xblive. The process the data, and when u sign on next time, your banned. IS this possible or am i stupid?

Sorry if this has already been asked or said, I'm just confused on your theories. You stated 2 possibilities that will contradict each other.

Most people who carry on with a large HD do it because they can store lots of stuff there. Unfortunately, M$ assumes everyone who does this is pirating games.

Sorry for being a bit lazy, but there's too many threads to browse through (again).

Last time I checked, most threads said that it was ok to change your videomode to NTSC on a PAL Xbox and play on Live (with stock MS BIOS of course). Is is still true that you won't get banned for doing this? I'm using Enigmah Videomode Switchdisc. Doesn't this change the EEPROM so MS would spot that immediately (if they chose so)?

The rationale for changing the videomode to NTSC is to enable the HDTV modes.

if you have OEM virgin HDD and virgin EEPROM you will be fine with a flaged gamertag.
thats what i am using, 35 days now
but don't use it on any modded xbox
