I was just noticing the same thing.  *Almost* everybody is 1.0 or 1.1, but I also see a few 1.3s..  Could this actually be significant?

Nothing On C, E has all homebrew stuff deleted, F:\ has games,emus
signed up to xbox live 2 month trial, never been on before modding it


havent been banned yet,been playing halo 2 3 days straight and heaps of it online

question, when i upgraded my hdd i never loaded eeprom to match the motherboard,and one reckon its a good idea to do so now?

Joined the forum to contribute my details.

Never signed on to Live, ever. Was about to join Live with the 2 month trial and upgrade drive in a few months, but after lurking around here I decided to change things around.

Installed an 80Gb Samsung drive last night. Used FireFuckers to set up the retail dash and had my F: drive at 72Gb. Used Firefuckers to lock the drive.

I have the Alladin Advance chip which can be disabled for using Live.
I have no idea what version of the XBox I have. Manfucture date on the sticker underneath was 08 01 2004

Signed up to Live with the 2 month trial and played Links2004 retail with the chip off.

No other save games or any other software on my drive.

Live updated itself and Links still played OK.

Installed EvoX and XBMC on F: with the various files needed for them on C: Transfered all my backed up Save Games over to the XBox.

Went back to Live with the chip off and played some more Links2004. No problems.

This morning I decided to check that everything was OK and yes it was fine.

Downloaded the free course for Links.

I'll edit this post tonight when I get home from work  and let you know if I get banned.

Still OK. Played some PGR2 and got a mail from MS confirming my 2 month trial sub

1.1 box with x2 chip
only ever been online after box was modded and stock hd (4 months online and modded beforehand)
got xbmc etc installed on c:/e:
never played halo2 french.
not been online for several days due to paranoia about bannings.
played halo2 offline, then after seeing i was ok and thinking the same as me i.e. eeprom/hd marrying, went online with halo2
got dash update and still ok

Right update guys.

This morning (around 8am GMT) I signed my xbox into live. This is with a modded xbox which has:

Xecuter 2 (turned off of course) and a 120gig maxtor which has standard MS files on the C:\ and the E:\. The F:\ is full of stuff but with the chip off that should be unreachable anyway. It signed in fine. So I turned the box off and left for work.

Just got home from work this minute (18.30 GMT). And have successfully signed back into Live. Make of it what you will. I will keep updating as time goes on.

This is without having played Halo 2 and I am in the UK (if that helps anyone)

Never been banned before either. Only ever been on live since i did the mod.

Just logged into PGR2 fine.

Not sure what to do.  My gut says to stay offline for a while and wait out the storm, but my Halo 2 cravings are beckoning.  

According to what MS reps are saying though, your gamertag is not harmed in this ban.  You can buy another Xbox and play on, so it looks to be all hardware and/or software related.

first time I ever went on XBL on new xbox was in halo 2(with chip off), so it must think that the 120GB
HDD is the stock HDD. No problems yet.

Used Xdisk auto installer,
registered on Live with box when it was unmodded
after adding my new hd I did an account recovery....successful with modchip off
Been 3 days and have been able to log on to live fine

I think that by doin a account recovery the Live database is updated with new hd serial, all my partitions are completely identical to a unmodded box, only difference is evox/other dashboard files on C:, but I dont think they are checking drive C: for these files...
