Thank you for sharing, but there are some things wrong with that. M$ IS NOT scanning hard drives. The reason you and your friends were banned, is because when u loaded ur leaked game save, and logged on to Xbox Live, they easily detected it by looking at the profile that you loaded onto xbox live.

My friend has got banned without ANY illegal software (without Halo2 gamesave), he  had only evox on C:. What do you say about it? But he has had a bigger HDD...

I will delete the GS and get on XBL very soon (with my big hdd).

It is, I forgot to say "except". Will you forgive me? The main point is that he didn't have H2 savegame. Anyway; it all just stinks, I'm waiting for Kasumi blue Xbox and I'm gonna use it only to XBL.

It's much easier to scan the hardware marks/brands then the software content (but I may be wrong), so...

I got banned and I never once downloaded it. Why would I want to play it in French anyways.

From now on if I provide my customers with the original HD locked to the current mobo, and they swap out between the LG HD they should be okay for XBL?

that whole "banned if you have a large HD" may be true, but I have never changed my HD. It is still stock and the only thing ive done to it is add evo x and games and such. never added partitions or any jazz like that. I am now banned and so that ruins the whole only large HD are banned thing.

shanafan i believe is running a 160 and as far as i know hes never been banned either, explain those? i find it hard to belive that we are just "slipping through the cracks" when it appears other peopel are being banned almost immediately
