This should be under MYTH... If you get a brand spankin new xbox and never mod it, but have a flagged GT, they will NOT ban your xbox.

Yea, I have 2 modded boxes. One was banned recently and the other has not been banned. I've used the same gamertag for two years and haven't had any problem logging into XBL on an unbanned box with my gamertag. I do it at my friends all the time and they've never been banned.

It's irrelevent whether or not you have a router as MS cannot get the MAC address of a router. Your ISP may or may not know this, but all MS sees is your IP address. MS won't know who has dynamic or static IP, so they have to assume everyone has a dynamic IP address. Therefore, they will not target IP addresses.

MS may log Xbox MAC addresses. If you get banned and need to swap EEPROM and HD, you could obtain any old but working Network card for a PC. Install it in your PC, note the MAC address and use this for your Xbox. Then, destroy the network card.

Why won't I make this info? Cause I'm too lazy wink.gif. I'll post info from my topic here. I'm working on our own Xbox site with my friends... (purely in my mother tongue wink.gif and try to guess the adress of it smile.gif).

I forgot to update my BIOS to the latest X2, so I did not have XBL blocking. I was demonstrating the XBL blocking to a friend and to my surprise it was trying to connect. I swore I had updated the BIOS, but apparently I did not. I went over to my unbanned XBox, and tested the blocking there, and it worked.

x2 4981 and above. i prefer evox m8 metoo edition v1.4 if you use an exploit tho.


also,,, been reading this... does this mean that u now CAN sign into xblive using ude 2 ( of course not with a backup tho, booting with an original in) if you have never been banned before?
