ATTENTION: Solution For Xbox Live Bannings
« Reply #30 on: November 05, 2004, 03:50:00 PM »

hm....
i have 10 clean EEproms that have not been used... which makes me think this guy is partly correct about this... I dont think its a HD issue or a GT issue at all. because i changed the eeprom for my friend on his SPLIT TSOP and he yet has not been banned on xbox live. he has

1.0 split
4983.06 and 3944
160 WD
samsung
and my "tagged" GT account.
yet for the past 48 hours he has been able to play online while i was banned twice already.

If this system is true, then it really sucks for those that transfer their XBL accounts to their friends' modded, unbanned XBoxes w/ upgraded hdds. If I were to transfer my account via memory card to a friend's XBox, his XBox would get banned sooner or later. Unless... there could be an exception made for tags being ran from memory cards.

Here is the clokedHunter's four steps

1. Acquire and install a new unbanned HDD.
2. Format the HDD and install the retail MS Dashboard using Slayers 2.6.
3. Acquire and install a new unbanned/unused EEPROM using ConfigMagic.
4. Register a new Xbox Live account using a different GT.

I followed 4 steps by my own way.

1. I used original 8G HDD have never been banned before(and never been on XBL)
2. I used autoinstallar made by a friend of mine. that  means I have a
evox dashborad on my 8g Hdd (position is F:) and original dash board
(position is C:) as well. and I transfer XBMC with using FTP program.
3. I changed unbaned/unused EEPROM using ConfigMagic.
4. I used my old GT. I didn't change it to new one.

the result is I'm ok so far(for 48 hours)

I have been banned 3 times before. however after I have followed ClokedHunter's

4 steps (exactly 3 steps)I'm ok until now. but I  can't vote right now because It has just passed

only 48 hours. so I'll post again after this weekend gone . I'm not still convinced

clearly about this solution but I think there is a point changing HDD and eeprom.

thank you

well i can confirm now that it does have something to do with the large hard drive serial number. clokedHunter method was extreme in any case. he didnt take the time to make sure that what he was was the only way of getting back online. its like bombing every fucking cave in middle east to find the one the one that bin laden is in.
but anyways... i will now make the statement that it is the HD.

This post is pointed directly at 'smokeingit'.

Let me start by saying that you are a freakin' moron!

You join this forum two weeks late without reading a single post and start insulting people just because their post doesn't agree with the first random thought that enters your mind!

Let me now direct you to the forty page thread where I DIDN'T spend two weeks of my personal time analyzing 590 posts, and I DIDN'T write 80 posts only do develop this EXTREME solution to share with the rest of the community out of pure generosity! I have been unbanned for 252 hours using our solution and I DO NOT have to be here!

Take a look, not that you will, to the origins of this solution:
http://forums.xbox-scene.com/index.php?showtopic=293690

Keep in mind that this is not just my solution. There are many XS members who have also spent weeks crawling the forum to help arrive at this solution. So, if you require a second opinion to what I have said in this post, feel free to contact one of those members. Here are the primary analysts that have developed this solution: miggidy, GamezMan, A.Z.BEST®, Optimus

There is nothing wrong with you repeating our complete analysis to arrive at the same solution. Just stop sharing it with us! We've read it ALL before. You've already made a good start with your *extraordinary* HDD discovery!

Now STFU and stop posting until you have something constructive to post.
(1:1000000000000000 chance of his next post being constructive).

For the rest of the users on this forum, excuse this post. I find it necessary to cleanse the forum of filth. Continue testing and good luck!

okay i take it back, its not CloakedHunter method. but a collection of users talking about theorys.. i was on that thread reading and there was so much shit being talked about that it was to much to read. BTW CloakedHunter you fucking n00blet. i am working with a programmer to find a solution to this via changing the serial on the 200gig HD, some HD's dont have read only eproms so we are in the middle of finding which ones can be done to it and if changing the serial to one that the stock xbox has. so shut the fuck up and come up with an orignal solution and not one that you took from people. BTW, as of right now there is a program to do it but its in C and my friend can only do it in VB. C i havent done in years and i am rusty at it.

2 things to look at. and i dont even think you know a thing about programing so here it is.

1.In the FAT file system, the 'Serial Number' is stored at offset 0x27 starting from the boot sector origin. if so then maybe its not the hard drive's serial just the volume serial.

2. changing serial number on the hard drive providing that i have one that can be changed...

so please shut the fuck up and do something to help me find a VB source since i cant do C. or dont say anything more you n00b.

update: something intresting.... my friend's xbox that i did a TSOP split and has a 160gig WD HD is still able to go online...

There many things we dont yet understand about the bannings and sh*t, and only in these kindda forums can it be figured out by vibing with each other and not fighting... get DOA online to sort this fight out and lets keep this about finding out the problems

smokeingit, what about ur test, did u get banned or what ???
And poiygon, what say you, did u get banned or u still on ???

Exactly! Which is why I would like to end this before it clutters the thread more than it already has. But first, I need to make a few points. First, this solution works. It is not the only solution, but when the steps are followed properly, it works. Second, I did not "take" this solution from anyone. This exact solution is the result of several tests and analysis completed by Miggidy and I.

Now, smokingit, ease up a little bit, and continue working on your idea about changing the HDD serial numbers. It would be a good idea to start a new thread about your idea, if you haven't already. It would give more attention to your idea, and leave more room in this thread for its original purpose.

And as I said before, if anyone thinks we're wrong, then PROVE us wrong!

Case closed and good luck!

If you've never been banned before, then you should be okay. And as of now, no one has been able to change the HDD serial numbers, although there has been discussion about it.

No, we do not believe MS is scanning HDDs. Good luck!
