Anyone Been Banned Lately With Chip Off

-What modchip do you use, or what softmod method ? can it be turned off?
-Did you chip it yourself or a friend, or did you have it done (dude might have grabbed your EEPROM and sold it.. causing it dupe on xbox live)
-Which bios did you use (does it have a Xbox Live Blocking feature?)
-Do you have Auto Signin enabled or disabled in your ms dash?
-You sure you didn't play a retail live game with the chip on.. Be aware that newer games use Xbox Live Aware (like fable, rallisport 2, rainbowsix?). So even if you played offline you might have connected to xbox live due to the live aware feature
-You didn't play any backup games at all?
-You only use evox + Media Center, no other apps ?
- Didn't play Halo 2 right?

This is goanna get nasty when ms starts scanning save games to see if there are any homebrew apps, review/beta save games, different region games, 007/sc/mechassault save games, etc.

my brother has a xbox same set up as i do, slayers 2.6, xecuter 2.6 and hes been on live ever since, he was on just this morning when i went to his house to pick him up.  hes never logged on while the chip was on or ever been banned.

Airbatt when i was banned it said:
"Xbox Live is Not Responding"
"The reason is that the hardware or software may be modified"

So it looks like as long as you have never been banned in the past you are ok to go on xbox live.

does having french content on your xbox have any effect on getting banned? like is M$ checking for french game saves, etc.

I've never been banned and my box works fine. My friends got modded xbox also and he tryed to go on LIVE with modchip on. Now listen. He got X3, Xbox Live blocking was turned off. He couldn't connect to Live at all on his box (tryed with mod on and off), while mine was working fine. Isn't it a little weird???????

How? His box won't connect to Live, it won't open Xbox Live dashboard.

Sorry, that was a typo, what i meant to say was that i have never been banned because i have never had my chip turned on while i was on live.  But i'm afraid to go out and spend 70 bucks for a starter kit if i'm just going to get banned because thats what seems like has happened to alot of people.
