Now the S.O.B.'s in the U.N. have decided that the U.S. MUST stop what is going on in another country....

West Africa Gears Up for U.S.-Backed Liberia Force

U.N. Secretary-General Kofi Annan, Britain, France and African countries would all like to see a big U.S. role.

The Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS

So you see we have to WAIT for someone to tell us it's ok to take over a country at the expense of our soldiers lives. Of course this is completely different, there's no dictator involved...this is a WARLORD! Completely different thing all together, they wear different uniforms.

That is, and always will be, the nature of the UN's decisions.  Now you see why people (such as myself) consider the UN to be at least as problematic as it is useful.  Any type of initiative the US gov takes is instantly attacked by the UN.  But they still continuously request US intervention into various civil wars around the world, the same thing they ridicule us for when they find it convenient to do so.

i think the U.S. just tell all the other countries to fuck themselves and not help them from now on. they never thank us, always critisise, and are never helpful. we should spend more money helping domestic issues like murderers and hiring ugly porn stars. that's what we should do. :D

let these people battle each other and hopefully kill each other, then its less work for the USA. it seems they alwasy call in the USA when the shits already really shitty, or unless it directly affects us (such as nukes).  Stupid americans :-)...

Ah, you'd rather just take over countries at will. That only makes sense.

Well yeah, it is rather different. No economic interests for the US in that region.

The U.N. is a bunch of nations who depend on the U.S. for aid.  We should pull out and let them fend for themselves for a change.

*except for Britain which is the only saving grace in the world besides the U.S.  What would the world be with out these two countries?

Not True. We Have to intervene. Remember, tons of our products are manufactured in foreign countries. We have to keep things civil enough so that the sweatshops are up and running so we can have all our goods  :D

Heck no, I don't have problems with the US. Just with unilateral decisions that threaten the integrity of states not located in US territory.

I'd take you up on that bet.

Kids... kids... kids...
The world is way too internationally driven these days to let a squirmish go unnoticed - that's the way World War's start, and then we're all fucked.  Not to mention some of us would rather do something to prevent a genocide of some poor people that can't defend themselves.

In short, while the US is the power house, their going to be the watch-dog.  It's an exact science as gravity.   Now, whatever Bush does is anyone's guess.  I think he's got a bumper sticker that says, "If you're brown, we're going to bomb you" or something like that.
