Ok not new to the forums just new to posting, but now that im registered you will prolly see me here more often, so i now introduce myself. Overall im pretty impressed with this forum and its members willingness to help. its a lot more serious than others where people join up just to flame so...kudos. neways, heres my current situation. i have a modded box with xecuter 2.3b lite installed, 80 gig western dig hd blah blah the works. First off im confused on one thing as far as the eeprom goes. does the eeprom originate with your xbox itself or the hard drive.  im kind of worried because i dont remember my means of backing up when i installed my new hard drive. everything runs like a charm including the msdash and if i turn off my chip msdash boots fine but im not sure if when h2 comes out and i try to sign onto live for my first time, im going to be banned because maybe i overwrote the original eeprom by installing a new hard drive (that would be such a drag, and i very well might cry if this happens) As far as my stock Hard drive goes, i still have it, the original but a while back i reformatted just to add a little extra space to my pc, well now i dont need it and im thinking of converting it back to a stock xbox hd to use just for live. that brings me to my next question, if i happened to find someplace with the stock files for the xbox hard drive, and reformatted for xbox would that work. I guess the only thing i really need help with is the concept of the eeprom, im not sure if they both will share the eeprom, or if one of them will have a valid eeprom and the other not or if i didnt back up in the first place, if neither will have a valid eeprom. AH so much worry, all for h2, oh well it will pay off. any replies will help and my apoligies if i asked a ? that had already been answered, iv just been looking for eeprom info for a while and none of it is what i need.  Thanks
