I totally agree you should try some things before replacing the EEprom.  I was just trying to save some people some pain.  I spent 15 hours trying a million differen't ways to fix the problem because it is clearly stated in other posts here that you have to have a 6 in you code if you are banned and that a 00c2 code was deffinitely not banned.  I am gald the enigma thing worked for you, but if it doesn't for others, paying the 5 bucks to get an unbanned eeprom is much better than spending 15 hours trying to troubleshoot the problem and then spending the 5 bucks to get the EEprom.

Ok, I also have an early Xbox (V1.1) and am getting the "Xbox Live Not Found" error. I'm getting the same XYZ code as many:

X: 0000 - F001
Y: 00C2 - 03E0
Z: 0000 - 0000


Here's the situation...

Xbox Live has been working without issue on my modded xbox for a few months.  I connect and disconnect the ethernet cable everytime I use XBLive. I recently upgraded my 160GB hard drive to a 250GB.  I used a Slayers v2.5 setup disc to format/install the stuff on the new drive.

As soon as this happened, XBL wasn't happy.

I still have my original drive, but haven't tried pulling anything from it.  Which files should I grab?  All of C?  Some of C?



Also, in Config Magic Final, my video settings are as follows:

Video & XBE Region : NTSC, Region 1
DVD Kit Zone : 0

Are these mismatched? I tried "on the fly" editing the zone to 1 (like on my other modded xbox) but no good.

Final bit of info: I have my other modded xbox plugged into the SAME router, used the SAME Slayers disc to set up my drive, and it can connect to XBL no problem.  This is the only thing I have that supports the idea that a "00C2" code could mean the EEPROM is banned. I'm going to check it by using my working xbox's EEPROM on the bad one.

I hate this F*cking problem!! I am stuck for it for 2/3 weeks now.... And i tried everything that you all said above me... Except for the buying EEPROM part, because I don't live in th USA.... Please let there be a way to fix this!!!

I just bought a new eeprom and installed it

got this error

Y: 00C2 - 03E0

I tried useing the PAL>NTSC method and no luck

Yup I'm stuck on this as well I think its a ban. Also replacing eeprom doesn't fix.

Well, I have tried a few ways to remove that 00c2 meassage, here they are:

- Removed upgrades HDD and returned the RETAIL HDD and formatted it.
- NTSC <-> PAL Switcher.
- Re-installed EvoX, and everything on both HDD's.
- Changed router settings.

None of them work, and I also cant buy an EEPROM because I dont live in the USA. SO I was hoping that there was someone that can give him/her EEPROM (unbanned) so I could look what the problem is of the 00c2 code. It can't be a ban, I had this problem since I installed my Modchip with Evox.
