Multiple Xbox On Network For Live
« on: August 05, 2004, 02:45:00 PM »

ok, my brother and i both have xbox live accounts on our respective boxes, but whenever we both try to get on xbox live in the same game and stuff, one of us always ends up getting kicked.  Is there any way to fix this?

youll have to get separate external IP adresses (instead of going through a router)

some ISPs allow multiple IP addresses, to get multiple xboxs on Live on my network i have..

cable modem -> switch -> router

both xboxs and the router are plugged into the switch, my ISP issues 3 IP adresses, 1 to each xbox and 1 to the router (which supplies net access to 3 computers)

Lord Magus he already stated he had 2 accounts, and lordvader's advice seems the right answer both xboxes are trying to use the same external ip which is causing a conflict on live
