Download Content And Harddrive Games

i downloaded the live update and the long beach pack on pgr2. it works fine when i have the disc in, but when i try and play pgr2 off my HD, it says the update pack is corrupted and i have to remove it before i can continue. im scred that it will delete my pgr2 pack and then i'll have to pay for it again. has anyone else seen this and what do i do.
