the only reason i can imagine someone wanting to play their harddrive games online is the fact that they don't actually own the game.  I may be wrong here, but that's seems like the only reason.

This is pintless... If you REALLY don't care, just go ahead and do it. But if you ask me, that's a dumb way to waste an EEPROM or two.

Hmm.. Angerwound asked this question a little while ago, but nobody answered him and the topic was moved away to the gamesave exploit forum... If you CAN somehow find a way to switch back to the original MS BIOS at an unmodded state, could you try turning on the gamesave exploit to get to evolutionX and then try running a habibi signed Xbox-Live game from the Hard Drive? It would be signed, the MS BIOS would be there, the HDD would be locked, and everything would be fine theoretically, but I have no idea... could somebody tell me if this would work or could you, wolf-john, test it out if you can? It'd be a lot less wasteful than what you're trying to do right now, you'd get banned no matter what, rest assured.

what is a "habibi signed" Xbox-Live game?
i know that when you lock the hdd you dont even need to turn the chip off so how would they be able to ban you if its locked and you boot from an original bios? they check your cdrom??????/

Next we need to sign the BIOS loader with the habibi key so it will load from 007/MA.

Extract xbedump.zip that you got from xbins to a temporary directory, or put it somewhere in your path, like C:\Windows\System32 for Windows XP.

Open up a command prompt and goto to your gamesave:

xbedump default.xbe -habibi (signs it)
del default.xbe (deletes the old one)
ren out.xbe default.xbe (renames the new one to default)
