i went on xbox live last night and it said i have a new msg waiting...and in the msg it said that "xbox live will be unavailable for updating in the next 24 hours starting Jan, 21". Is xbox live 3 here or what? hope it doesnt detect larger harddrive..wat u guys think?

yes it's being updated but all the promised updates aren't here yet. like the online or msn stuff. u can make clans and stuff i think. expect d-load after 21st

well they always say they not gonna do nomore bios for x2 but they still do and as long as the x3 isnt out i would think it would be in there interst to keep there customers happy, but then again why baby us since we all know by now not to turn ya xbox with chip on when acessing live

Are they shutting down the servers for LIVE 3.0, or is it just some upgrades?  Cause in the message I got they didnt say anything about 3.0.

Im pretty sure its just the beginning of the upgrades for tsunami and not the full thing. They are doing the upgrades mentioned in their product briefs over a period of time. It would probably take way too long to upgrade all at once.
