I am thinking of installing a switch for my Chameleon.  The Eject button will turn it off, but it would seem safer to have a hard switch.  I wish I could make it default to off, and turn it on when I want it.

if they did hard drive scanning, then, could we install a hard drive switch between the original hd with it's original hd contents and the other hd we bought with it's contents

The problem would be if you ever modified the dates on your old HD.  If you never touched it, you are in great shape.

I doubt they will scan it.  2 more days, and we will know.

another question, if MS did hdd scanning, could they search on the F drive, if so, is ther e a way to put evox on there and launch it?

/me was just thinking... they can't update your TSOP becuz you need to solder those 2 jumpers... so they couldnt update the bios. the partition table support for F isn't built into the original BIOS.. soo they couldnt find anything on the F partion, right? Or am I underestimating the software capabilities? If i am correct, copying everything to F would instantly protect you from live, granted your 'chip is off and you locked your HD.
