Xbox Live Account Recovery

I modded my box with a Matrix and 120gb maxtor hd(Thanks to all of those who have busted their ass to make it so easy for us).  I have locked the drive and tried to do the account recovery option to get back on to live. The first problem I ran into, was I couldn't remember which credit card and phone number I used.  I think I have finally gotten the right card and phone number but now I receive a message saying "You account cannot be used at this time.  Try again later."  Does this mean I am banned?  Or maybe because I tried so many different options with my gamertag that Live blocked the account recovery thinking someone was trying to hack in>

Thank you for the info.  I guess I'll break down and go buy a memory card.  I never really saw a need for one before.  I can hook up my old hard drive and pull the info off.

great idea. then you can copy back to large Hdd or take it with you when you try to play XBL with your friends house too. good luck.

A memory unit is great for doing the new exploits!

ok..don't start now. or you have to explain all the way. Cuz I did once to a noob and I got my 50% of PM full after that just from that one person. Let them read.
