Xbox Live Hacked ?!

I'm not going to state an opinion on whether i think "live hacking" is good or bad
Definition of Live Hacking: Being able to play back-up copies of games with a modded xbox

But those who say they don't want live hacking cause then there will be lots of cheaters just have no f'in clue.
Hacking Live to be able to play with a modchip is hard enough, especially since the few windows of opportunity that will arise to enable it to be done will be closed very shortly with a patch from Micros0ft.  But then to be able to modify or send code that seems "kosher" that will enable one to cheat somehow in a game??? that is seriously exponentially difficult.  I mean its like being able to throw a paper airplane 20 feet and then stating that once you accomplish that you can put a man on the moon.

And i'm thinking maybe people get the idea its possible or even easy from like pc based MMORPG's where there have been 'hacks' to cheat online.  but keep in mind there are many technical hurdles the xbox environment naturally introduces above and beyond that of such a pc based environment.

I just wanted to get this out of my system cause i really hate the posts like  "xbox live is hacked now there will be cheaters!! this sux.."
cause it just isn't going to happen.

A rare, sensible, post.

Now, let's work on getting these hacks a bit more user-friendly, but not TOO user-friendly.

what makes me upset with live hacking isnt that fact that everyone will be "cheating", its that live being exploited comes back to the consumer and me being an xbox live user it will hit me were it counts(in the wallet). By exploiting live they will increase and find new security measures and users will pay in the end by upping the live account yearly price to pay for these extra measures. why does it make me upset, because the ones that have live accounts will pay and the ones doing the "most" of the exploits are not users so of course it wont affect their pocket.

***notice i said most,not all***

they will not make the price higher of xbl this is M$ we are talking about

er... one flaw in this sentance.

yes is is M$ we are talking about!

as it stands now playing backups on live is actually very complicated smile.gif so i'm happy that there will be no influx of n00b's with thier fresh market bought dvd-r of wolfenstein. i'm going to put this next bit in my signature soon smile.gif

DO NOT USE THE COMPLEX LOADER FOR LIVE! YOU WILL BE BANNED!

one question, why?    what would you gain from this exploit besides playing live with backups for maybe a week or a month and the m$ finding a way to catch and then ban you again, this is just a waste of time.

No shit. If you have an original, use it. If not, then go buy it or something. I'll be damned if I'm gonna be fucked over on XBL (price-wise and/or whatever comes this way) by a bunch of pre-pubescent bastards who want to play RTCW (or whatever) on XBL and are using DVD-R or playing off the HDD and then M$ locks that shit down and makes everyone else pay for it.
