how could halo on xbc be full of cheats?if your cheats are not enabled but the one of the others are the boxes will come unsynchronized and the game will disconnect.no way to play against cheaters if you aren't using the exact same cheats yourself

Oh you think so do you? Well FYI, i don't have any cheats for Halo, yet people are able to fly on XBC and snipe me from way up in the sky? LOL.

This is a stupid statement. There are all sorts of cheats that you could implement that would only effect the situation for you locally. What to think about transparent walls, fat markers over every player's head, and so on.

Okay my idea is that we intercept the packets on the way to the Xbox Live Server eg. By Routing them through our Computer, and then we modify them so the CRC looks correct, or you could modify the Xbox Live File so it checks a .bin file and thus gives the correct CRC. I'm sure there are ways of getting around this like coding the bios to display a certain file when asked to display it self or something else. I'm sure someone has thought of this but someone would just have to collect packet data from everyone to look for a pattern and write a program to get around this. I will do this but I will need the information, and there is nothing we don't have, because we simply need to get the Xbox Live Program to query a bios file. cool.gif

In the end your suggestion is impossible.. It would be very simple for M$ to encrypt the data (TCP/IP packets), so you couldn't do shit with it...

PLUS: I agree with RMF. It would be very unwise to hastle with LIVE. As soon as you could play on it with your MOD enabled, I will stop playing on it. You would never know if you are playing against someone that is just very good, or he/she is using cheats.

Thats not cheating... thats the use of finding places where u can ride up wall on a ghost and then snipe from up on high..

Dude, in Blood Gulch u can get on top of the map and BE IN THE SKY, i know ways to do it and i do it almost all the time if there are ghosts, but that doesnt mean that people can use the Halo trainer on u if u dont have it. this cheat of sniping in the sky can easily be dont by anyone and is a simple glitch that Bungie has trown in there..if u goto Bungies website of Halo they have a WHOLE SECTION of cheating in Halo without the trainer!

Were u playin sidewinder? cause its e-z as pie to get above the lvl if there are tanks and ghosts....

Hey bombzhome you think u and me can hook up on xbc sometime and you show me how to get abouve BG ? Ive read numerous times how to but it just dont make sense to me. I can go on whenever you want if would be so kind. I dont even cheat in serious games though, cause unless the other team sux @$$ you won't have time to even do it.
