not very likely. Story looks like fairytale. If you F boot and lock the HD there is no way they can know if your xbox is modded or not. Even if they do a HD scan.

i don't think ms would say "your xbox is modded" they would use a text like "your xbox video game system was modified"

Ok, an unbanned EEPROM.
But if I get this message again after 2 hours?

Why do I get this message on my Xbox ???
Is it the switchmod? Or the HD? Or is it the software?

Who has experience with this?

XBOXDASH.XBE is still the original. I have added EVOXDASH.XBE.

Happens by using Live with your modchip on and a modified BIOS loaded on the Xbox

Alkane, you mean that this is the new message if somebody is banned (English is not my best language)?
Instead of something like "couldn´t connect to XboxLive" ?

You will receive Xbox Live not found from the conection test screen.  From a game you will receive this new error message.

About the suspition of a new way of detecting modded boxes. (For the record, I do not own a modded box myself, so this is just a shot in the dark.)

Even if you turn off your mod chip, and the HHD is locked, and MS cant find F:\, isn't the evoxdash.xbe/yboxdash.xde or whatever right there in the root of C:\ ? If so, all MS has to do is check for an unknown bios OR check C:\ to see if it contains an XBE except the original MS dashboard. True or false?

As stated several times, Live does not check your HD for files.

User error. That is why they are being banned. I have two Xboxes because I can afford it, and you never know what implenations MS might put in for the future. Please, I can never screw up and become banned with my unmodded Xbox.

Again again, Live doesn't check your HD for files.
