I also have heard of this "swap trick" with out a mod installed. Have never tried it (don't own a PS2), but from what I understand is that it'll only worked on the older PS2 "versions" and was quickly worked out by Sony. Thus, making the idea of it working on the Xbox just wishful thinking. It will not work since MS has worked disc "swapping" out (one reason why its taken so long for a "cheat generator" to be released for the Xbox).

1) you can change your ps2 case to the swapmagic lid which lets you swap with a disk
2) there is a way were you push in a tab with a knife or something inside the tray. which opens the tray without reset. then you can quickly change the backup.

I think it's hillarious how you all immediately assume that someone is making something up if you have never heard of it yourselves. Shanafan, no disrespect to you (as you are most knowledgable in all things live), but you couldn't have followed the PS2 backup scene for more than 2 minutes. The action replay swap trick method is an old one that works extremely well. As for it only working on older PS2's i have no idea, but it does work with every PS2 that i have seen it tried on.

Maybe it could work for the xbox, maybe not. AR or GS will never come out for the xbox anyway. MS are currently involved in a lawsuit to stop them from being released so that live can not be compromised by cheaters online, and i for one hope that MS win.

It is interesting how this is done on the PS2, but I would think M$ will try a method to detect GS or AR on live simply to avoid cheaters on Live.

Yes, I have followed the PS2 backup scene for more than 2 minutes. How in the world have I have installed a Neo 2.2 modchip in less than 2 minutes?

He makes it sound like you don't need to the PS2 apart.

Also, the Pro Action Replay comes out for the Xbox on March 24.

Ok,if someone tried it,just let me know wether it will stop the cd turning after choose the cheat code,in that case, you can change the cd lowly, not in a hurry. useless to talk about how to get out the cd,just open the tray if it does not works like some old version PS2, even more,you can cut the power of the mada.

Mr.Gate said that he will never think about to sell the xbox out of Japan in Asia when xbox was released , maybe cause hacked or backup,maybe not. and then sell xbox in Taiwan one year later. That is why i change my idea to play xbox backups, to find a way to play backup online, to give NOTHING to MS,even one 1 doller. I don't care wether he really wouldn't sell xbox in other Asian countries or not, but what he said really hurt me.

still I'm sure this is impossible on xbox games. The swap works because the system is up and running already, people at M$ refused to sign AR codes so it's just a save game cheat, and it's harder to open the xbox dvd drive because the bios.
