Xbox Live $ Amount In Nov

Ive looked everywhere just out of curiosity, and all I can find is:

"After your first year subscription is up, your credit card will be charged for another 12 months and the then current rate"

Does anyone mabye have any insight of a possible price?

I'd rather not see a ridiculous amount charged on my credit card in November. You figure that M$ could charge a thousand dollard, and no one could do anything about it because we all technically agreed to pay whatever  the "then current amount is" by signing up.
