I downloaded the game to test is xISO form, burned it and it played fine.

I was a beta tester in Live and had the Live dashboard, but when I put PSO in, I just take out the ethernet cord, so it can't send or receive any net info, works fine in offline.

Fun game too, btw.

I downloaded a patched default.xbe for PSO (got it on a newsgroup) which allowed me to play offline, without using an XBLive account.

The fact you are playing PSO offline w/o a Live account....I think that is stretching it even when you said where you got it from

o ok.  But in fact I do have a Live account (got it the 1st day it was released).  I just chose to play it without messing around with the account stuff.

PS. I really don't use my account since I was banned on the 1st day I got it LoL.

As you probably know PROJECT X has released a "cracked" .xbe file for PSO.

I havent been banned for playing offline, as you dont even need the cable in.
When patched it disables the online button so no need to worry bout hitting it by mistake.

IN OTHER WORDS, CHILL OUT AND DOWNLOAD AND ENJOY THE FINEST PIECE OF SOFTWARE FOR YEARS!

AND DONT WORRY SONIC TEAM I AM BUYING THE ORIGINAL AS SOON AS ITS AVAILABLE TO ME!

PSO sucks ass, I had it on Dreamcast and it gets boring after an hour.

dont you love how people will type anything to get a bunch of posts?

Don't you like it when people give a brillant response on a post that speaks the truth?

I love it.

Has anybody been able to make and re-use a backup saved game?

I got my new 120 gb HD in and the backup I had won't work, with it.  Would hate to lose like 20 hours worth of work away.  Was starting to really get into that game.
