MAybe all you need is a save game from someone who does have live and plays game offline.

This may work?

1: FTP it to your ´HD (Delete the update.xbe files) and run it.

or

2: create an iso of original without the update.xbe files and burn it

(Then it skips the live check)

I read an article yesterday at some game site. Seems that even if you want to play it off-line the game want's to connect to xbox live ( http://gamespot.com/...2909988,00.html ).
So I don't see the reason to even download the game. I also read that people in North America will not be able to play with other regions.

thats a pretty shitty system. Technically if you were to buy the games legit it would cost you the 50 for xboxlive which is shit anyway, and another 40 for the game. sounds expensive and not worth it.

Does it actually connect, or just check for your Gamertag data? If it just checks for your Gamertag, yank the Ethernet cord when you want to play.

I have a ban LIVE account, I been able to create a game (offline) but when it lunch is stay in a screen that look like a warp thing, and I can move a start... but after 15 min, is still thats screen.

Anyone to manage to start a game?

I've been playing it a bit on my banned XBox. Just checked for the gamertag on my memory card once to assist in creating the character, and didn't even try to go online as my ethernet was unplugged.

Too bad the game sucks.

Mine works fine on my banned box. (using Japanese beta version). I played offline after I was banned from LIVE so it works.

I didnt open my retail one to check though, since I was banned I figure there's no need. the beta version works just fine. However, like many says, the game sucks. Its stupid and repeats itself. Not enough variations, levels..etc.
