that code sounds either like soemtings up with your eeprom or you router isnt letting certain stuff through.

ok, i didnt even try reconnecting or anythhing, i just hit ok, waited a minute, and then hit Y button at the connection screen again..

now my codes are:

X 0000-F021
Y ooC2-01E4
Z 8015-1917....the banned z number...wtf.

All you did was changed the serial number......If you have been around since this began and read the threads you sbhould have known that that does nothing

You have to get a completly new VALID eeprom....the info they are banning is not just your serial....it is a unique hdd key which is formed from some algorithm of serial, MAC and/or other stuff....this has to be completely valid to get on to live.....

I read your post, you did not say you changed it to a valid unbanned code anywhere.

Also, make sure you reboot after you change the EEPROM (with the mod off, of course).

Calling him a moron? Changing your serial number using Configmagic won't get you unbanned. Its a combination of things that will get you unbanned. The HDD key is the main part. Anyways, how did you know the serial number you inputted was valid? Did you just make it up?
