im having this whack problem, since im on verizon dsl, i need to use ppoe settings to connect to xbl. The only problem, is that anytime that my xbox launches the evox dashboard (i have ybox bios), the ppoe settings turn off, and i cant play a live game, and i have to go to the msdash, open live settings, turn ppoe on, and it gets really annoying! how do i avoid this problem?

when you run ur Evox it has nothing to do with the pppoe settings, I think you might have you're evox settings on STATIC IP, change that to Dynamic and see what happens.

u posted this about a second before i replyed to my own post, its worth a try but i doubt it will work

The easiest way around all your problems is to buy a router ... they are soo cheap right now..

the routers let you configure your ppoe? i think u need to be connected to the internet tho, and thats gai, since i dont like to leave the comp on when i play
