yeah...

I agree, this could work, but you would have to have 2 bios's installed already for this to work. Good idea tho. would stop with all the switches n stuff

I don't think this will work.  Somebody brought this up a little after xbox live launch.  If you boot with modchip on and enable bios, when you disable it to go to the default screen then how are you going to boot the back up?  The thing is, you have to have original bios on when you go on live or you will be banned the next time.

Well in assembly you can do self modifying code, ie. a program can overwrite itself. So have the mod bios overwrite itself with the original bios!  blink.gif

I dont think we are thinking on the same terms here. Im talking bout a link that will shut the xbox off, and then reboot it, with the mod disabled. Kinda like the eject trick, but instead just clicking a button to do it

Even if it completely powers off? I am thinkin like the bios tell the chip to disable untill you reboot once again. Kinda like a internal disable switch.

So you want something that shuts the xbox down and disables the mod?

Impossible, unless you program a little robot to unground the d0 when you do it.

Why not just flip a switch?
