Modding After Xblive Is Installed
« on: January 21, 2003, 06:30:00 PM »

I am a current subscriber of XBLive on my un-modded XBOX. I am planning to mod my XBOX next week with a Executer2Lite, an external disable switch, and a 80GB harddrive.

Has anyone ever tried to mod an XBOX after already being a XBLive subscriber? When subscribing to XBL, MS downloads a new dashboard for your XBLive account management and I'm worried that somehow MS will be able to detect my modchip although I switch it off.

Can I simply copy all my files to my new harddrive and keep the XBLive account intact? Will XBLive know that the harddrive has changed?

Are there any tips so I don't get banned the first time I try to get into my XBL account?

Please help.......

Advice : Just make sure you back up your account data onto a memory card, just in case.
