Even if Xbconnect is available I think Live feels more reliable. Anyway, is it possible to just purchase the Live key alone? I already bought a communicator a month ago. Buying yet another expensive kit feels stubborn. I currently have a Cheap LPC mod installed so I wonder what I have to do to so my box won´t be banned. And what about EEPROM? It is a file containing some info, right? If you know where to get the Live kit as cheap possible I love to know where.

I don't think there is any place your going to find a kit for less than about $60. And you do have to buy the whole kit, you can't just buy the code, unless someone has an unused one lying around they would sell to you....I doubt that will ever happen

As for not being banned with your mod, you should install some switches to turn the mod off,,, There are plenty of tutorials on how to do this.

And if you have never tried to connect to Live with you mod on before, then don't even worry about the eeprom
