I agree also but the sad truth is, people are already cheating. Look at the fastest times on some motogp tracks. 3 seconds, 5 seconds, how could they not be cheating? And in unreal, 8000 kills a game? MS isnt stopping cheaters by far.

now whats the point of buying a console (wait ill correct meself there, a gaming machine

) and not buy the games??? fair enough i havent found the courage to mod it yet, im still looking to see if i can fit some flat cc's in it and chop and change it a bit but why not spend £40 on a game. then you can enjoy it. mind you it is my sheltered veiw and option.

i fully agree with anyone that said its good to buy live games. I agree that M$ is getting ripped off enough, and live games are a small way to pay them back. Now, look at yourself with a stackful of dvd-rs with no cases, and your evox launch menu filled up, and tell me your not ashamed!

I am not ashamed but I still support this action. I buy LIVE games and games that is worth buying, others, I copy them on my HDD.

All of you have forgotten one vital piece here...the server software. Even if by some miracle you hack the client side, you still need the server side. Plus, the costs would be enormous (bandwidth, maintanence, etc.). No one thought of that, did they?
