actually shanafan it isnt BULLSHIT its real i talked to one of the people developing actually i talked to him in person... they said it will be released in 2 weeks or so but they are having problems with it right now because after a couple days of use it fries parts on the xbox and they have to replace parts . so no shanafan it isnt bullshit , its a bios that re copies it self over top of it self after it haz booted the copy or something like that

Why would you need to intercept packets? Just recode a whole new interface for xboxlive, xboxlive in all likely hood uses some sort of a standard to communicate witth all the games. You crack this standard it would be a very small step to making your own xbox live.

um... if the xbl game is looking for, lets say, 163.23.63.12:3701 to connect to the live server and get downloads or whatever you do on live (even with my employee discount live is too expensive! thus i dont have it, lol) wouldnt you need to reroute those packets to the new cloned server? it seems like you would need to forward them to me. seems simple but whatever

dkoikadabra, the last person who talked about a similar thing was kickace. He claimed his "friend" was developing and made a working copy of a program that allows you to play backups on Live. However, his "friend" didn't like the publicity kickace gave out and thus kickace stopped talking. BTW, nothing happened for awhile about this "program".

k go ask GreenGiant about it hes the developer i know. He haz a bios that will run burnt gamez on live they are fixing sum stuff right now but it will be out soon. So if all of you are such a big bunch of smart asses then go ask GreenGiant

Even if someone has a BIOS which gets arounf the Live protection, what's the point...by the time everyone has got hold of it MS will use the update procedure to ensure that within a couple of days the new BIOS doesn't work anymore.
As for emulating XBLive...the legal issues that would result would be endless...either buy another Xbox or put up with using XB Connect. That's the way it is, live with it.
