No, you can not make an EEPROM from Configmagic.

Do a backup command in EvolutionX and in c:\backup, will be the EEPROM.BIN file

Fuzzy, that is what I meant. You can't blindly plug in numbers in Configmagic and think its going to work.

shannafan, one question. I think I have read a few posts that say if you blank the bios on the openxbox/pc-biox chip before play that would be ok too. I know its not the most fesable method and could get damn annoying after a while but i just want to make sure that this method worked. Would i have to delete the bios, then just boot the xbox regulary? or with the eject button? Thanks

here a another tips

if you not playing xbox live and you might of pressing one of the xbox live content in the game - alway make sure that "Remove the cable connection back of the xbox" before Enable the your mod chip

X-Power (need to work on those writing skills buddy) says that if you are afraid you might accidently select a Live tab in a game, you can just leave your network cable unplugged when you have the modchip on. That is fine.

I dont suppose you help me here shanafan.

I have a banned xbox, and have an eeprom to replace it with, i know what to do in config magic to replace it, but the region of my eeprom is different from the region of the eeprom i am trying to replace it with. I get the message "EEPROM ENCRYPYED REGION INVALID".

Now i read in one thread which i cant find now, that you said you can change the region by using the on-the-fly edit, but im not sure what to do here?

My current region is 4, not sure what the one is that im replacing it with tho, can you pls tell me what i need to do?

You may have missed it in my FAQ....

Go to "on-the-fly" edit command and change the region from "PAL, Region 4" to "NTSC, Region 1". That's it! Now you have a NTSC EEPROM. But, you will have to go to your MS dash and update the clock.

Your friend has to have a modded Xbox. Have him install EvolutionX and do a backup command in the settings menu. The command will generate a file called EEPROM.BIN in c:\backup. FTP to your Xbox and transfer it over to your PC. Thus, you have the file
