What obvious parts? If you want to get back on Live, the parts along with serial number have to be the unbanned numbers.

No, because you won't be changing HDs, and the EEPROM is written to your actual Xbox mobo, not the HD

EDIT: hey shanafan, after i put in the new eeprom, my PSO data was corrupt and it says that i have to erase the data in order to play again (i haven't erased it yet). do you know why? and if i put back my old eeprom, can i store the PSO data on a mem card and then put the unbanned eeprom back in? it took me a long time to get to level 45 with a FORCE...lol

hey thanx for all the help. I don't know if u already know in the first page it says u have to boot evox thru a cd. my friend told me i can install evox on the f partition n upgrade the bios to boot from the f partition does any one know if this is safe? thanx

Yes, you can do that, I THINK, as I myself haven't worked with F boots. But hey, at least check it out. I can be a good workaround without a CD

guess what it does works now i can have both dashboards on my 80gb hdd turn my chip on n evox boots from f drive turn it off n xbox boots normal. i can now play live with out xchanging hdds or boot evox thru a cd. thanx for all the help.

No because your Xbox will boot the modified BIOS all the time. If you have not tried to use Live yet, do a onboard flash of the original BIOS

Some games automatically try to connect to Xbox Live whether you want them to or not.

I got banned because I started to play a game on my HDD and it automatically connected to Live. I saw what it was doing but couldn't get to the Xbox fast enough to turn it off and prevent the connection. I was banned immeadiately.

I read all the forums that I could find on modding, and using Live with a modded Xbox, before I modded mine and never saw a post saying that it would be best to disconnect your Xbox from the internet BEFORE playing a game on your HDD.

My recommendation is that you disconnect the internet feed from your xbox before EVER playing a game on your HDD to make sure that it is impossible for your modded Xbox to connect to Live without your express desire for it to connect. If I would have just done that, I could still play on Live if I wanted to.

On another note. I phoned the (800) 4my-xbox number and after a long discussion they told me that my Xbox SERIAL number was banned permanately and that my Xbox would never be allowed on their service again. (Anybody want to buy my Live Starter Kit w/Crimson Skies HRTR?)

I hope that this will help some people out.
