Why don't you just give him the other Xbox?

I suppose you might be able to swap the HDD's if you don't just want to give him the other Xbox.

just copy down and remove the live info from ur old one and reenter it in ur new?

an xbox live acct. is just like a gamesave. just use the program at xboxsaves.com to transfer it to your ocmputer and hten to the other xbox. now you did say that due to a broken trace you couldn't mod it. all i can say is try anway, cuz w/o memory cards, it ain't happenin'.

Just buy a mem card. I am sure your friend won't mind giving you the money for the xbox first.
