if your modchip is on or your drive is unlocked you will be banned. These are the only known ways to get banned as of now (and you could have searched and found this)

i believe it gets unlocked when you have the modchip running. so, it's locked and good for the original bios, but open for the modchip bios.

can you confirm/deny that fuzzy?

sorry i cant but you should be able to use the f drive then lock ur drive and unlock it (with progs like eepromer and configmagic its not even tough nymore so what the hell)

you won't "lose" them. basically, locking it makes your original ms bios see the (for example) 80gb hard drive as the standard 8gb one. basically it takes away your f drive which you need. anyways, it's not GONE, you just can't see/access it.

now whether you need to unlock it to see the files again, or if the evox or xecuter bios unlock it automatically for you, i don't know. i was hoping fuzzy would know. if that's the case, i think i should do that for myself.

k well configmagic can lock/unlock at the press of a button right?
