Great idea, but I think do we know that it is the eeprom that is flagged? It is possible that MS keeps a list of banned eeproms. But try it!

The eeprom info is banned at the MS level, not the actual EEPROM on your XBOX.

Correct me if I'm wrong.

It is banned at the MS level.. but to get to that point I thought they where setting a flag on your eprom to ban you. I was banking on the idea of preventing that flag from being set.

i think to get this to work we've to fool ms via a pc and some software running on it when the box connects

an unbanned eeprom and a banned eeprom are identical (if taken from the same machine of course). MS bans the info from the eeprom on the server-side which we have no control over.
