that happens a lot, its an error when you play over the internet not a real system link. Its not the plug it just says that.

Fuzzys right that happens all the time not just on xbconnect but on gamespy to try going it a few more times and that should fix it

it may say the disk is dirty but reallly its a runtime error.

when playing halo on system link, you have to go to the host screen first.

meaning,

before you can connect to someone elses server, you need to make a room and go to the screen where someone would connect to you

then back out, and go to the other persons server.

this will fix the dirty disc error, im not sure why, but you will usually have to do this 1 time when you first start playing
