i have been saying that xbconnect is better than live for a while now, i haven't even played it much since the ban of modchips. and since most people know halo is my game of choice, well i like xbconnect, also thps4 is my second game of choice, so xbconnect is where i hang with my decision.

i really dont have problem at all with you shanafan, but that first post was anything but necessary. vin was giving us his opinion on Live, thats it! he wasnt trying to talk down to us just because he is a moderator. and even though i disagree with him, since i have a high powered 2.0 GHz PC and i also own a PS2 i still loved the beta testing period of Live and really did think it was "fucking awesome", im not going to talk crap to him. you know why? its his opinion! thats what he thinks and since he is a very respected member of this forum he thought that he would share his opinion with the rest of us. so just chill out!

I just don't find it appopriate for him to do it. There is a pinned topic on the modchip about bashing. We don't need this board to turn into a bashing war.

Maybe its time you think about what you just said. As, I am living up to my free speech too. I need time to think? Ok, I like Xbox Live and I like coming to this board to get the latest on Live and such. Do I want to hear peeps saying that Live sucks or other junk like that? Nope, as that is not the purpose of this forum. Would I want to hear how much Live rocks? Sure, thats all good, but the opposite we don't need here.

I have SOCOM and the PS2 NA and SOCOM is very fun to play. I bought Ghost Recon for Xbox Live, but since I already had SOCOM, I returned GR and got NBA2K3.

Exactly WHERE did I rip the Xbox? I ripped LIVE, which is different... the Xbox itself is awesome (if not underachieving).

I just want people to know that LIVE isn't the "end all be all" that M$ portrays it to be... I find the Xbox Connect program to be more inviting and a better option for some (not all). Also, the LIVE experience has not matched up to PC quality of playing online. Is it easier? Yes, and as far as I'm concerned it's the only plus right now.

There is no "Killer" game on LIVE right now... (and not really on the PS2 either). Once LIVE brings out a game of the magnitude of Counterstrike or Warcraft III or Battlefield 1942... or ANY game of popularity... come find me and we'll talk about how great LIVE is.

You said it was okay if I talked about how GREAT Live is... how fucking bogus fanboy of you to say. Negative opinions spur conversations (like this one) which is what forums are about... not people who through around terms like "Troll, Lamer, Newbie, Lurk, LOL, ROTFL" for a living... please, why don't we strive to make this a community with people of different ideas and opinions?

I'd have to say that NFL2k3 is a killer game though.
Live is worth it just for that game in my opinion.
The sports aspect of live is what makes it shine.

I agree totally Noobvin.. xbox live is good BUT there are not any games out right now that are fun imo.. When they release some games like SOCOM and such then it should be pretty good. Also.. Every game there is always some 12year old that wont shut the fuck up and annoys everyone with their voice and stupidity.. lol
