this confused the heck outta me as i used to always be banned from live!.  but recently, i reflashed my xodus' bios w/ the xecuter 4973 bios, changed it w/ the err and colormod modifications, and put it on my xbox.  teh xodus is on always on mode (mode 2).  I also wrote my eeprom w/ pixel8's or whoever it was's blank serial eeprom.  the one that changes your serial and HDkey to all 0's.  then for the heck of it since i got fever 2003, i did the update dash (my evox was evoxdash.xbe, so it worked) and went to signup.  it actually connected!  and i never turned off the mod.  my XYZ code is:
X: 0000-F001
Y: 00A8-4860
Z: 8015-1917

now i thought cuz of my Y code that i should be banned.  can anyone clue me in as to why i'm not banned? thanx.  well while i wait i'll see waht i can do

Tell you what. Post here in 24 hours and tell use if you are still able to sign into Live or not.

well no i haven't played, but i went into network setup and was able to connect.  that's the best i've done yet tho.  i don't have a subscription code. i will say what happened in 24 hours tho

well guess what.  it's been aroudn 7 hours now and i'm still unbanned.  and my XYZ code is the same.  just so you gusy know

Thinking about it, this topic too doesn't make sense. If he never did have Xbox Live, why was he banned then?

numpty, you got my point exactly.  and jerome, i don't want a subscription code, in fact it'd probably have no use to me since you or whoever already used it.  and the way i know i'm not banned by not playing a game is that you go into the M$ dashboard, Xbox Live, Network Setup, Advanced, Connect, and it says Xbox Live Found.   that means that i am unbanned. WHen it says 'not found' it usually means you're banned unless you have connection problems.  My Y code confirms this too.  and i am still running the matrix in always on mode.  i'll exactly every step of what i did if this lasts a couple more days.


by teh way, it's been over 24 hours and i'm still unbanned lol.  i do periodic checks every now and then.

Nope, it doesn't say that at all.

It will say "Connected to Xbox Live".

And, you are avoiding my question which furthers me questioning you. If you were previously banned from Live, how come you tell us you don't have Live?

Your story seems a little out of whack.
