they are not clear in how they are doing this. i want to know if a DVD-R or game off the hdd will be able to play on XBL.

Lame, by hitting eject they are loading the stock BIOS and hence are loading an original... same as the old PC-BIOXX... didn't mention anywhere using a backup.

Lets see if they're singing the same tune in a couple of days when the box is banned. Plus, are they retail over there yet? I thought the European countries were still in beta. If they are then its not much of a feat. We had no problems playing backups with mods on and such when we were in beta here in the U.S.
