for life so you wont be able to connect even if your mod chip is off after you where banned.

burn EvoX to a CDRW whatever works for you and restore your MSdashboard. If you have a bigger HD lock it disable the the chip. Install Live...Just to make 100% sure you dont get banned make sure your chip if off when you sign up for your account. Pretty sure it does mod-chip dectection after you download an update.

But to make certain turn mod chip off before installing live and make sure you have the default dashboard set to boot.

Problem is i was naive and new when i loaded dvdx v1 and no back up...what an ass

so im hoping that installing live disc on box prior to connect will allow me to use switch and therefore hide from the nasties on xbl
