Xbc Vs Xbl

Ok,   I've got my evoxdash.xbe set up and my xboxdash.xbe is the new xbl version that is installed when you goto the account setup from any xbl supported game.

SO...
I can either get an xbl account  or just keep on rockin' with XBconnect

1. XBL costs money (starter kit, future charges)
2. XBC doesn't cost a thing
3. Although XBC only supports system link games, all of the XBL games have been system link so far (i believe, i'm prolly wrong on that one)
4. XBL has a voice chat

so just wondering what you guys think is the better way to go?   If i don't go with XB Live will i really miss out on anything cool?

Well if you have your modchip disabled and all that stuff, go with Live. I haven't tried it yet cause I still have to get a switch, but I have the kit laying around. The gameplay will be a lot faster, much more features, and a better experience.

same here, i think live is 10x better. I think live has alot less lag over xbconnect & voice chat is awesome!!! Plus, you get to download stuff with live & you get to have friend lists & a bunch other stuff.


& pretty soon, xb live games won't have system link (i know halo 2 won't have system link)

what happen if turn the switch back on "without connet on live?"

"remember that you installed xbox live on the xbox"
don the xbox live auto re-Search your xbox for any mod-chip's and bannaing your xbox on live without conneting?

                                    me too.  day after thanksgiving is usually biggest sale of the year in most stores.  i know best buy throwing in $30 card for buying new xbox.  $200 (xbox bundle) - $30 (gift card) - $60 (jsrf and sega gt) = $110 xbox system!!! maybe i'll grab 2, keep the gift card, sell bundle pack on ebay for $200 and get an extra $30 gift card meaning paid only $80 for new xbox live system and new controller S!! whatta deal!

Xb connect work just great, but  neead more player who play other things of Halo...

Voice work for game who got it, like live.. You can hade friend too ( Even more easy to find then live)

For the lag.. The same, since all the game use p2p... Even with Live, who act just a chambers...

Also, who can use gamespy Arcade who work too

Well well

Im sure some of you that have posted on this topic have at sometime in another topic cussed MS for what it has done.

But who cares....

I have 2 xbox

1) for Backup games

2) for xbl

I do play XBC but only for Halo as that game rocks, but i have Mech Assult and beleave me the game it the Fcuk best, and when Ghost Recon comes out in the Uk i will be the 1st to get it.

Can anyone tell me can you play on LIVE with Tony Hawkes 4?

Look. XBOX LIVE is mega cheap and its great. FULL STOP. Just get it and use XBCONNECT also for Halo etc.

                                    similar to me except i would not pay 100 a year. By the way, if the other people have the headesets they voice does work.
