I have installed my live thru unreal and haven't bought the starter kit.  Now my friend who did the same can connect to xbl and i can't it detects everything and then says xbl not found.  It's clear I am not modded but I am using a hub and my chip is a matrix i put it in mode three and there are the numbers anyone know why i can't connect to it.  Is it cause i need to get the starter kit ?
Or is it cause me and my friend installed live from teh same Unreal Championship cd ? anyhow there are the numbers.

I believe I was a touch too eager to play Crimson Skies and Prince of Persia with my mod-chip on.  And seeing as "Auto-Sign In" was enabled, I am thinking my box got banned.  I did just recently do an upgrade of EVOX to 3921, but I doubt this would lead to me getting the "Modified Xbox Error" message when you boot to the regular MS Dash and it tries to sign in.  All the connections are good (Cables Connected...Check; IP Address...Check; DNS Resolved....Checked, step 4 halts! with the "Modified Xbox Error").  I looked into this thread and found out my XYZ stuff, so I will post!

The 6 is there in the second part of the Y category, which has proven to be pretty indicative of a banned EEPROM!

BUMMER!  Funny thing is, I haven't played an online game in forever, but, I was thinking that I would give Crimson Skies a shot soon...and of course, downloading the new Splinter Cell maps and all sorts of goodness that comes through that service is well worth it IMHO.  Now to find a EEPROM that I can use to change this situation!!!!

What we really need now are C codes and other odd codes like that with details. No more regular or plain banned codes are needed. Thank you

So I started grabbing headers from banned and unbanned Eeproms.

When the data is "consistent" (e.g. from a valid header) you'll see the 8015 code every single time, weather banned or not.

So it seems that the 8015 code is a tipoff that as far as the kerberos servers are concerned the EEPROM is valid, the user area not being important....

AFAIK this should be a pretty good clue as to if you've hit on a combination of values that the servers will accept. Once you can get consistent acceptance, heck you could randomly pick HD keys from generated valid values.

Got banned sinced yesterday.  I am in Japan, live beta tester.  (Japan xbox live starts from Jan. 16, 2003.

I have x-ecuter 1.0 installed with a switch.  I though the ban happened because I forgot to turn the switch off 2 days ago, then noticed that I couldnt connect to the game (live connection tested fine), so I cold booted the xbox and turned teh switch off.  Works fine for the rest of the day but the next day, it fails to connect to xbox live server in network testing.

I was banned once from Xbox Live and purchase a new eeprom back in December and it work fine, till now.   I don't understand. I login fine a few weeks ago but now I'm unable to login.

When i set all of the network settings to automatic, I get:

Now i'm not sure if the Y code is 008A or 00BA it looks more like a B so that's what i'm putting down.

yeah, I have the same issue, but it's my regular eeprom. I upgraded to a 120 gb and it no longer says "Modified System", it says "Xbox Live not Found". Anybody wanna shed some light on the subject? Thanks, any help will be greatly appreciated.
