Safety Options In Evox To Prevent Live Banning?
« on: November 25, 2002, 10:18:00 PM »

First off, if anything like this already exists, never mind this post. I'm probably just not aware of it.

So you can go on live, if you switch off the modchip so you don't get banned. Now, what if you go on by mistake, you're pretty much screwed. Wouldn't it be great if evox blocked any access to whatever files the xbox uses to connect to live? (update.xbe) This way you wouldn't connect by mistake or run an have an auto upadate execute by mistake while the modchip was on. Thus, preventing you from getting banned.

As it stands now, I'd be to scared of going on live by mistake and getting my ass banned to install a modchip.

P.S. Props to MS, great work.
