No I've talked to Undead about this, and he also backtracked on the HD key theory.

get his hdd password (authentication rules obviously)
c) flash it over my eeprom using (eepromagic or eepromer)
d) then lock my (already locked) hdd with his hdd password - he's to dumb to use xbox live or at least want to use it!
e) put the hdd back into my xbox and boot it, it should load and using his non-touched settings (he hasn't tried connecting online yet)
f)Voila, done. Boot system without xecuter modchip on and BAM! it should work!
